Social Media Elevation Protocol

Profile Updates

The goal is to elevate the profile content to ensure the personal brand is appropriately reflected. These updates include profile and cover image redesign, as well as an update to the about sections to better reflect the person’s role as a leader and highlight professional accomplishments.

Engagement Plan

No — it’s not what it sounds like! Here, we’ll create a list of key leaders and organizations to engage with. Engagement with high-profile accounts will spread the reach and attach new followers.

Define Tone and Content Pillars

Identifying the brand tone through key traits that should be associated with the person’s brand.

This also includes identifying three to five content pillars that all social content will fall within. The profile will then discuss, amplify, and create content revolving around those topics. It’s important the topics resonate with the target audience to help reinforce the leadership role.

Establish Posting Guide

To engage in timely postings, it’s key to create a guideline of do’s and don’ts that will help keep consistency with the personal brand.

Highlight Speaking Opportunities

There’s no better way to show your credibility than speaking to others on industry related topics. Therefore having a speaker sheet and linking to it in social profiles is a great way to promote speaking interests.

Plan Consistent Posting

Generate monthly content calendar to ensure consistent posting across all social platforms. Some months can focus on a specific content pillar or it can be scattered.
